responsibilities**
As an Associate Relationship Manager, you will help building connections with our client groups; improve and grow sales across our platform, including ETFs, mutual funds, alternatives and bespoke solutions, in order to deliver aspirational financial results measured by AUM, net new assets and revenue targets.
Contribute to the delivery of annual target of net new assets, generated from existing and new clients
Execute on a new data-driven sales strategy, action hot leads related to high potential growth clients and extensive IFA networks
Champion in the adoption of Portfolio 360, BlackRock's state of the art portfolio analysis tool for clients
Support the development and execution of account strategies jointly with the team lead.
Partner with subject matter specialists and senior leadership across the functions to prioritize partner demands.
Handle day to day business flow and deliver service excellence (pre-trade guidance, product comparisons, cost analytics)
Maintain and develop dialog with respective product development and marketing departments
Deliver product presentations to clients via phone and video conferences
Arrange client meetings and conference calls with Portfolio Managers or Product Specialists
Organize events & seminars in partnership with Marketing and Event Management team
Responsible to ensure that all regulatory and legal requirements and standards are met, including achieving MIFID II Information Provider status
Knowledge/Experience
In-depth knowledge about financial products and especially mutual funds and ETFs - preferably with validated experience in selling investment products to sophisticated investors and handling client relationships
Ability to take account ownership and strategically develop relationships; position investment ideas and other valuable services generating sales and assets
Strong understanding of capital markets and the regional asset management industry
Outgoing nature who puts client-interest first and loves to work in a highly dynamic and ambitious environment
The individual must be an upbeat self-starter with professional pride and a dedication to perfection and improvement; she or he is a standout colleague with a "can-do" attitude and a pragmatic flexibility; further, the successful candidate will be organized and entrepreneurial, possessing outstanding verbal and written communication skills in at least French or German and English (additional language is considered a plus)
Skills / Qualifications
University degree in business administration, economics, finance, or in another field.
CFA, CIIA and/or CAIA are preferred, but not preconditioned
Shown ability to handle complex projects involving different business groups and to assist the business in implementing solutions across the broad range of BlackRock products and services.
Excellent research and analytical skills
Extensive experience in MS Office suite including Word, Excel, Power Point
