    Position summary

    In business-as-usual work, this position focuses on Cloud Migrations, Storage Operations, setting up new Standard Procedures, Documentations & Knowledge Transfer including Monitoring, Troubleshooting & Performance Analysis.

    Role Responsibilities

    Successful performance in this role requires an individual be able to perform these duties above a satisfactory level. The following requirements are representative of the knowledge, skill and competencies required.

    • Support system operations between cloud and on-premises IT STORAGE Infrastructure

    • Administer and support operations related services and products deploy to AWS and Azure platforms.

    • Review & development of processes & automation (AWX, Ansible)

    • An engineer who adopts an automation first mindset, leverages AI to reduce manual effort, and translates operational data into clear, actionable insights.

    • Apply AI‑driven analytics to infrastructure telemetry (logs, metrics, events) to proactively identify performance, capacity, and cost risks.

    • Working knowledge of AI/AIOps concepts applied to infrastructure operations (alert correlation, prediction, pattern detection).

    • Role may also include day-to-day administration of Storage estate, including monitoring the Storage ticket queues, Storage Provisioning, SAN/NAS connectivity issues, storage hardware and software issues, storage device performance monitoring, storage sizing, storage integration with systems

    • Must have good problem solving, teamwork, communication, and customer service skills.

    • There are no after-hours on call requirements, but the individual should remain flexible for critical situations.

    • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues and provide operations support for bridge calls.

    • Participate in the development and implementation of STORAGE related projects.

    • Creation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for new implementations and processes.

    • Communication - Work effectively with other Infrastructure groups including the Network, Server & Database teams as well as the Application Development teams

    • Documentation - Document critical processes and procedures to ensure consistency and quality.

    • Put in place Storage procedures and follow Company procedures and processes to ensure that Audit and Regulatory requirements are met.

    Experience

    • Good knowledge of Storage Technologies - NAS, SAN and Backup

    • Proven experience in Cloud Environments, with a preference for AWS and Azure, though Google Cloud knowledge is also valuable.

    • Hands-on experience using AI tools (e.g., Copilot, internal AI bots, Python-based automation) to automate BAU storage operations such as capacity monitoring, alert triage, reporting, and remediation.

    • Ability to design and improve workflows using tools like Power Automate, Python, REST APIs, or ServiceNow integrations.

    • Familiarity with Storage Technologies such has NetApp, Hitachi, EMC SAN, Veritas NetBackup is desirable.

    • Proficiency in security and performance monitoring and analysis.

    • Conceptual understanding of Server and Networking components.

    • Experience with Kubernetes/containers is desirable.

    • Cloud certification is desirable - preferably AWS and Azure.

    Requirements

    • Only Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents may apply for this position.

    • A minimum of 4+ years comparative industry experience

    • Degree preferred

    • The position will be required to work on shifts (not overnight). These shifts will also cover the weekends.

    • Workdays could be staggered over the week
