    Position summary

    ommitment to deliver unparalleled support to our business partners and customers. Roles include our Platform Client Engagement team, who play a crucial role liaising between our Aladdin business and the Aladdin platform, leading the technical implementation and support for new Aladdin clients, and providing business development support for clients across Aladdin's technology Ecosystem.

    Legal and Compliance

    BlackRock's Legal & Compliance (L&C) Department protects BlackRock's reputation and provides advice and oversight of BlackRock's business. The department is focused on:

    • Actively participating in business decisions to champion our clients' interests and assist the business in translating compliance requirements and expectations into their daily work.

    • Putting client interests at the centre of everything we do.

    • Ensuring adherence to applicable laws and regulations.

    • Cultivating and enhancing the strong compliance culture within BlackRock.

    • Providing thought leadership on the impact and implementation of regulatory change.

    • Fostering excellence within the Compliance team; and

    • Actively developing the skills knowledge and careers of each member of the Compliance team.

    Internal Audit

    Internal Audit's primary mission is to provide assurance to the Board of Directors and Executive Management where it finds that BlackRock's businesses are well managed and meet strategic, operational and risk management objectives. The team engages with senior leaders and all of BlackRock's individual business units globally to understand and advise on the risks in their business, evaluate the effectiveness of key processes and assist in the design of best practices. Our work builds confidence that BlackRock understands objectively and will meet its obligations to clients, shareholders, employees and other stakeholders.

    Tech & Ops

    Technology and Operations is responsible for the end-to-end management of BlackRock's operating and technology platforms. This includes providing services that impact the product and trade lifecycle, as well as the client and employee experiences. Technology and Operations is committed to operational excellence and managing risk to maintain the integrity of our platform.

    Military Applicants:

    • Service leaver must have served in the UK regular armed forces with a minimum of 3 years' service.

    • Have left regular service within the last 12 months.

    Professional Athlete Applicants:

    • Elite athletes, who have either represented a professional team for their sport, or who have represented their country at Senior international level.

    • Have left sport within the last 12 months.

    Applicants for this programme should:

    • Be legally able to work in the location applied for

    • Be able to evidence/reference an interest in financial markets

    • Be able to demonstrate high levels of self-motivation and team orientation

    • Be a clear and confident communicator

    • Be numerically competent

    • Have a client service orientation
