    Position summary

    be fully responsible for ensuring the VP/SD office is aware of deliverables and their timelines and communication is cascaded up & down as needed.

    This position requires strategic thinking and business acumen as well as the ability to develop processes to facilitate short and long term planning and execution. Building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships, both internal and external, are a key aspect of this role. Must be skilled in cross-group collaboration at all levels with excellent communication skills and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment.

    **Key Job Responsibilities and Duties:
    **

    • Be a trusted advisor on individual and team dynamics. Partner directly with (S)VP/Sr Director to prioritize activities based on business priorities. Maintain and influence relationships with all stakeholders, internally and externally.

    • In collaboration with PMOs, FP&A, Internal Communications, and other stakeholders, establish the BU cadence, own the agenda, and plan forecasts. Continuously improve the design and governance of BU Leadership Team cadence. Coordinate and facilitate BU LT Meetings.

    • Organize the (S)VP/SD's inbox, respond to emails, and manage tasks. Communicate on their behalf to internal and external stakeholders. Review and advise on outgoing communications as required by (S)VP/SD.

    • Manage and initiate the onboarding process, prepare documentation and schedule, oversee technical and operational onboarding aspects. Handle tasks delegated in Workday, Concur, Ivalua, etc., including raising POs and vendor follow-ups as needed.

    • Plan business travel for (S)VP/SD & teams, coordinate logistics, visas, and preparation materials for meetings and presentations. Facilitate the process for signatures and support the hiring process by conducting interviews for the craft.

    • Identify areas of improvement within the business, collaborate with PMs to manage change, and assist in planning leadership meetings and events, including offsites, all-hands, Q&A sessions, and working sessions.

    • Partner with IC in planning, organizing, and executing communication initiatives. Understand opportunities for communications and act as the leader's eyes and ears to identify concerns or opportunities for internal communications. Collaborate with IC on global initiatives.

    Qualifications & Skills:

    • 4-6 years of experience in a leadership support / assistant role to VP/SVP level in a large international organisation is required

    • People oriented; strong relationship and stakeholder management skills, and able to engage with people across all levels, and from diverse backgrounds.

    • Commercially aware and results-driven with an independent and proactive attitude.

    • Highly organised with excellent planning skills. You take ownership and proactively solve problems, often before it reaches your S(VP).

    • Comfortable with ambiguity and able to prioritise and make decisions without having all the information.

    • Strong ethics and can handle confidential matters with discretion. You cultivate and promote the Booking.com values and culture within the department.

    • Be an active member of the Leadership Support community, both across departments and within your own department.
