FP&A Planning Systems Lead / Architect - Anaplan

Key Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Design scalable, robust, and efficient Anaplan models and solutions tailored to the specific needs of the organization.

• Develop architecture and strategy for Anaplan implementations, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

• Ensure sustainable and scalable setup and integration of Anaplan solutions with other enterprise systems.

• Lead the implementation of Anaplan models, including building, testing, and deploying solutions.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth deployment and integration of Anaplan solutions with other systems.

• Plan level of effort and resource requirements for various implementation projects.

• Continuously monitor and optimize existing Anaplan solutions to improve performance, scalability, and user experience.

• Maintain and update Anaplan models in response to changing business requirements.

• Lead and manage a team of 2-3 Anaplan professionals.

• Mentor and develop team members to ensure high performance and career growth.

• Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders and translate them into effective Anaplan solutions.

• Provide training, support, and guidance to end-users to maximize their utilization of Anaplan solutions.

• Liaise with external consultants to drive FP&A transformation and connected planning initiatives.

• Work closely with stakeholders to ensure they understand and can effectively use the solutions provided.

• Create and maintain detailed documentation of Anaplan models, processes, and architectures.

• Ensure solutions adhere to best practices, compliance standards, and data governance policies.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Finance, or related field.

• Advanced degree or certifications in related areas are a plus.

• Minimum of 8 years of experience working with FP&A teams or in consulting, including solution architecture, implementation, and optimization with Anaplan.

• Proven experience in translating business requirements into Anaplan solutions.

• Experience with OneStream and Snowflake is a huge plus.

• Experience in the technology industry is highly beneficial.

• Expertise in Anaplan platform capabilities, including model building, data integration, automation, and PlanIQ.

• Master Anaplanner certification is highly preferred.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop comprehensive solutions to complex business challenges.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.

• Proficiency in programming languages and data manipulation tools is a plus (e.g., SQL, Python).

• Ability to deal with change & ambiguity effectively.

• Experience with agile development methodologies.

• Knowledge of finance, supply chain, or sales planning processes.

• Ability to adapt to rapidly changing business environments and priorities.

• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.

• Experience with sustainable and scalable setup & integration.

• Previous experience with FP&A transformation and Connected Planning initiative.
