In your role, you will be passionate about developing and executing communication plans that will translate specific business changes and priorities into creative and engaging communication strategies and tools, tailored for the employee and helping to bring the unique culture of Booking.com to all offices.
You will share your knowledge and experience with the team members and help them to develop and grow in their roles, and have a focus on continuous improvement within the team but also when collaborating across other LPS Enablement teams and Internal Communications.
Key Job Responsibilities and Duties:
Develop change communications strategy to maximise LPS understanding and absorption of the changes
Develop and deliver creative, engaging, effective and impactful communication plans to LPS on the larger, more complex change programmes utilising a breadth of channels, which are appropriate to engage and communicate with the audience, in a timely, consistent and relevant way
Identify and drive continuous improvements for the team both internally but also when collaborating with other LPS Enablement teams
Consider and select appropriate channels for high levels of engagement for different audience groups, recommend revisions, new innovative tools or additions as required.
Works to create the overall change narrative working closely with the Change Specialists. Linking the different change portfolios ensuring joined-up messaging and timing, whilst linking to the strategy and culture of Booking.com
Actively source, measure and present employee feedback in your team and lps enablement and to (local) management in order to increase impact and engagement
Champion effective, conscious change communication and drive best practice standards across all communication activities
Constantly measure and re-calibrate communication activities for impact and engagement
Work in collaboration with other internal communication teams to deliver a unified Booking.com voice and ensure maximum impact of communication efforts and to adopt the highest standards of communication, through tone of voice and language.
Qualifications & Skills:
Solid experience in internal or change communications within a complex, matrixed organization
Proven ability to translate complex change initiatives into clear, engaging narratives
Familiarity with change management principles and how communication drives adoption
Skilled in stakeholder engagement, channel strategy, message development, and feedback loops
Confident influencing up to Director level and adapting communication to various audiences
Strategic thinker with hands-on ability to execute across multiple channels and formats
Experience supporting global rollouts and multilingual/multicultural audiences
Strategic thinking, able to contribute to long term vision.
With limited supervision, ability to use quantitative and qualitative data to support change communications approach and drive decision making
Finds facts to support arguments
Strong Problem solving and root cause identification skills
Seeks for solutions from self or others
Solid business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges
