    This role offers the unique challenge of working in a 0-to-1 space, while having the opportunity to leverage Booking.com's scale to achieve worldwide impact. This requires an innovation mindset, strong focus on execution and constant collaboration across different departments.

    For this role we are looking for a Senior Product Manager to drive this 0-to-1 space, by leading one of the user-facing teams that operates at the heart of our innovation strategy. This role will be key for figuring out the shortest path to product-market fit for our Trip Planning product, while bringing the entire company along with you for the ride.

    You will be joining a team fully staffed with all functions needed to build a product from the ground up: UX Design, Product Marketing, Data Science, Data Analytics, UX Research and all Engineering cross-platform functions.

    Key Job Responsibilities and Duties:

    • Define Product Outcomes/Goals that align delivering a great customer experience for our users, to business metrics that Booking.com cam use to measure impact
    • Using the Vision of Trip Planning, define and iterate on Product Strategy together with your team in order to provide focus and the right level of uncertainty to your team. The Strategy should inform the Vision and help it evolve over time.
    • Define and drive an Operational Model for your team that brings together multiple functions (PMM, UXR, DA, DS, UX, Eng etc) in a way that people are enabled to think together, rather than handing off work.
    • Drive strategic collaboration with other teams in Booking.com that can help accelerate our mission and time to market
    • Own the Opportunity Space of Trip Planning by continuously developing your view of the potential opportunities in our market, together with a prioritization framework that guides the team on making pivot or persevere decisions.
    • Guide new features, systems and services from inception to launch while keeping both customers at the center of everything.
    • Measure and report the team's progress and impact to the business in a transparent and effective way. This includes defining key business and services success metrics, tracking them, and improving upon them.
    • And most importantly, own our Trip Planning product, end to end.

    Role Qualifications and Requirements

    • At least 5 years of experience as a Product Manager
    • You have experience with 0-to-1 products where you built and launched a product, from scratch, all the way to early adoption
    • You have proven experience of building Product Strategy in a structured and collaborative way, based on Insights uncovered.
    • You are customer obsessed and derive a lot of your job satisfaction from understanding your users and working closely with them to improve their lives through your solutions
    • You have proven experience with setting product goals at the beginning of the product development cycle and then moving them in an iterative way via the solutions you ship.
    • You have run into the problem of needing to move very fast with your iterations in order to validate your assumptions, while maintaining high-level stakeholders satisfied/informed with your progress.
    • You have deep knowledge of experimentation and can design experiments in order to validate your hypothesis about a solution having the effect that you assume it would.
    • You think end-to-end when imagining solutions and understand what an exceptional user experience entails and how to deliver it whilst balancing against other competing priorities.
    • You have an analytical mind and strong problem-solving skills demonstrated by the ability to structure issues and analyze alternative solutions.
    • Fluent in the English language both spoken and written.
