You will manage strategy projects working with stakeholders at all levels of seniority. You will lead small cross-functional teams, provide process and content leadership, including defining both how we will 'crack' the problems and presenting conclusions to senior leaders.
Key Job Responsibilities and Duties:
Lead multiple critical projects to solve, complex open-ended strategic challenges
Scope well structured projects across complicated topics and stakeholder environments
Define problems, scope and perform analytical tasks with rigor and high degrees of objectivity
Develop recommendations, communicate and align with compelling storyline to senior leaders
Pro-actively shape the strategic agenda based on deep understanding of business & market (competition, consumers, competitors, regulations, technology changes)
Prepare very high quality presentation materials for extremely senior audiences (e.g. CEO, CFO)
Qualifications & Skills:
Strong understanding of Booking, technology companies and travel industry (consumer preferences, competition etc.)
Able to break down complex, ill-defined business problems into clear projects & workstreams
Highly proficient in performing complex analytical tasks; Can scope and manage analysis for others (including more junior and more senior colleagues)
Extremely strong communication skills, including ability to craft narratives and presentations for very senior audiences; capacity to develop trust, credibility and influence senior stakeholders
Can lead cross functional collaboration across multiple departments in a highly matrixed and complex environment without direct line management; High EQ
Likely has 6-10 years experience in strategy or similar role. Product management experience is helpful.
