    Position summary

    xperience. The program runs from Monday June 1 through Friday August 14, with optional opportunity to extend and start 1-2 weeks earlier and/or continue 1-2 weeks later, depending on your semester schedule and the needs of the business. Eligible student applicants will be current sophomores and juniors (rising juniors and seniors respectively during the Summer 2026 program period), possess work authorization, and be able to work full-time, following the expected schedule and on-site presence of the position. The objectives of the program are to provide meaningful work and projects for completion and to help Brother develop a strong pipeline of talent within our operating communities.

    This role will be based at our Dollard-des-Ormeaux, Quebec location and follow a hybrid work schedule. You will be expected to be on site at least 2 days a week, based on business need, with assigned office days determined by the manager. #LI-Hybrid

    Duties & Responsibilities

    As part of our commitment to ensuring that our summer interns are contributing to our business and completing meaningful work, below are some examples of the kind of projects you may be responsible for supporting this summer, dependent on business need and priorities.

      • Support data analysis and dashboard design work, helping translate insights into clear, actionable visuals

      • Support a database mapping and cataloging initiative to improve data organization

    Experience & Qualifications

    • Must be a present college sophomore or junior (rising junior or rising senior during the Summer 2026 program period) returning to an undergraduate program following the summer to be eligible

    • Target Major(s) or Fields of Study: Data Science, Math, or Computer Science

    Required Experience & Technical Skills:

      • Working knowledge of SQL concepts: SELECT, CASE, GROUP BY, ORDER BY clauses; indexing; Primary Keys, Foreign Keys, and ERD diagrams.

      • Beginner or intermediate working knowledge of Python

      • Experience with data analysis and visualization

      • A critical thinker who excels at problem-solving

      • Able to clearly and accurately articulate technical and non-technical information.

    Additional Preferred Experience & Technical Skills:

      • Previous experience in stakeholder or customer management

      • Previous experience relating to analytics & data science, with experience in Tableau

      • Experience creating, designing, or altering databases, understanding normalization factors, and star schema/snowflake schema

      • Cloud experience using: AWS S3, Lambda functions, Step functions, Snowflake, MS Fabric, or Alteryx

      • Working knowledge of ML and statistical models such as linear regression, logistic regression, KNN, K-Means.
