The Role at a Glance
The Director, Partner Experience develops and executes strategies that engage, promote, and expand the business of Brother Authorized Partners within the Commercial ecosystem. This role champions the enhancement of the Partner Relationship Platform, establishing it as the central, user-friendly hub where partners can easily access all necessary resources. This position plays a critical role in amplifying Brother's market presence and driving sales growth across various commercial channels, in alignment with the overall Commercial strategy. The Director collaborates closely with teams across the organization, including the Commercial Sales Group, Product Marketing, Marketing Communications (CXC), and shared services teams. It evaluates and redesigns current partner programs and incentives in partnership with sales teams, and shapes the future roadmap for both the Partner Relationship Platform and the Knowledge Center for partner enablement. Additionally, the Director leads, coaches, and mentors the members of the Partner Experience Team.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Channel Marketing Strategy
Develop and implement channel-specific marketing strategies by aligning priorities across sales channels, product portfolios, and investment criticality, in close collaboration with Sales and Product Marketing teams
Collaborate with Customer Experience (CXC) and Product Marketing teams to ensure marketing communications and partner-facing assets are created in alignment with strategic goals and effectively support channel growth
Enhance Brother for Business visibility across partner-owned platforms, including websites, digital catalogs, and other sales enablement tools, to drive awareness and conversion
Drive ROI-focused support for partner-led demand generation by defining strategic involvement in campaigns, events, and other initiatives that stimulate customer engagement and sales
Deliver consistent co-branded materials and content syndication tailored to each channel type, reinforcing brand identity while supporting partner marketing efforts
Establish the Brother for Business Excellence Center, an initiative built on a Liquid Learning model, designed to educate, engage, and certify channel partners and their sales-forces - offering rewards and recognition to promote participation and success
Channel Programs and Platforms
Lead the definition of the Brother Partner ecosystem, partner personas, and partner journey experience to secure adoption and loyalty across all partner platforms
Provide direction to the Partner Experience Program manager, assuring the PX portals offers our channel partners the best-in-class experiences, including appealing content and easy navigation
Leadership and Team Management
Train, mentor, and coach the team to perform and achieve the Channel Marketing goals and metrics
Support the team's development and become the reference for the Channel using the most updated tools and platforms in Marketing, Marketing Communications, Partner Management Software, Data Analytics, and Event /Industry/Channel shows, among others
Influence others through communication and collaboration with an enthusiastic approach, resilience, and the agility to correct direction if necessary
Motivate the team and peers by being a role model that drives change and celebrates achievements
Reporting and other Duties
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports for various internal groups
Develop and deliver presentations for various internal and external stakeholders
Partner with the Commercial Sales team to assist key customers/channels QBRs and events
Key Experience & Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience) in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field
Experience
10+ years of experience in a combination of: channel marketing, marketing and/or marketing Communications, multichannel responsibilities and omnichannel strategies, and leading and managing a team
3+ years of experience in the office supplies, software, or consumer electronics industry - Preferred
Software/Technical Skills
Knowledge of Partner Relationship Management (PRM) portals

Compensation & Schedule for This Role
This role will be a hybrid role. Subject to business needs, employees may work remotely up to two days per week. Assigned office days will be determined by managers. #LI-Hybrid
This role requires a prominent expectation and responsibility to travel to engage in-person with partner accounts, up to 50% of the time (est. 2 trips per month, for 2-4 days per trip, but varying by business need and seasonality.) The hybrid office schedule pertains only when not traveling.
The salary (or hiring) range for this position is $165,000 - $180,000 per year
Starting salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location, and alignment with market data
This position is eligible to participate in the relevant Brother variable pay incentive plan(s). Applicable bonus awards are discretionary and contingent upon 1) achievement of your individual objectives and 2) Brother achieving its corporate and business-level objectives

About Where We Work
Brother's corporate headquarters for the Americas is in Bridgewater, NJ, across from the Bridgewater Commons Mall. This location houses key corporate functions, including HR, legal, finance, IT, and supply chain, and a significant presence of our business unit leadership and marketing teams. Our manufacturing and distribution facility in Bartlett, TN spans an impressive 1.5 million square feet - equivalent to 26 football fields - and is located on Brother Boulevard. In addition to the distribution center operations team, this facility hosts several other departments, including our customer service group. Brother also has employees based in other locations, such as Westminster, CO, where many of our marketing and product engineering team members from the mobile solutions division operate, as well as our distribution centers in Richmond, VA and Perris, CA. Additionally, our outside sales teams work remotely within their territories, staying geographically close to the accounts they support to ensure they are always "at your side" for our customers.
