    Position summary

    ogram. This exciting opportunity provides selected undergraduate students with a PAID, 10-week experience from Monday June 2 through Friday August 8. Eligible student applicants will be current sophomores and juniors (rising juniors and seniors respectively during the Summer 2025 program period), possess US work authorization, and be able to work 40 hours per week in a hybrid or full on-site environment at the location noted. The objectives of the program are to provide meaningful work and projects for completion and to help Brother develop a strong pipeline of talent within our operating communities.

    This role will be based at our Bartlett, TN location and follow an onsite work schedule.

    Here's What You'll Do This Summer:

    • Improve the chemical management program by validating inventory and identifying a cost-effective hazard communication compliance tool

    • Enhance the contractor program by listing key contractors, defining EHS-related services, and ensuring compliance communication.

    • Develop communications to promote regulatory understanding among team leaders and ensure employee compliance

    Our Successful Candidate:

    • Must be a present college sophomore or junior (rising junior or rising senior during the Summer 2025 program period) returning to an undergraduate program following the summer to be eligible

    • Target Major(s) or Fields of Study: Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental/Safety Engineering

    REQUIRED Experience & Technical Skills:

    • Coursework or background in environmental or occupational safety

    • Basic understanding of safety regulations, environmental laws, and compliance requirements (e.g., OSHA, EPA)

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)

    • Energetic self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment

    • Comfortable with extensive walking and standing during working hours

    Additional Preferred Experience & Technical Skills:

    • Strong communication skills to build relationships and foster collaboration across the organization

    • Creative thinker capable of generating effective solutions and making timely, ethical decisions

    • Willingness to take on responsibilities and tackle challenges
