    Position summary

    ducts with an emphasis on industrial P-touch, Desktop & Industrial printer products within Datacom, Electrical, MRO, Manufacturing & Warehouse market segments. The Manager is responsible for building and execution of overall business strategy collaborating with marketing, product management & lead generation team under Director of Sales' guidance. Major responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

    1. Building pipeline of new end-user opportunities and expanding sales into existing end-users

    2. Recruiting, managing and making channel partners more productive

    *** WHAT YOU'LL DO ***

    Reseller Focus

    • Take ownership of assigned channel account(s)

    • Develop and execute sales strategy for assigned account(s) with manager's input

    • Develop strong relationships with key channel contacts and leverage to BMS's advantage

    • Utilize marketing initiatives, promotions etc. to promote partnership and improve BMS's business within the channel

    • Execute new product/ solution launches within channel and delivers high impact sales presentations and product training

    • Partner with channel to develop and co-execute high impact launches, co-marketing campaigns, product trainings etc. to improve business for both

    • Manage or influence the account reps supporting the channel and drive joint sales calls to end-user customers

    • Conduct partner reviews on a regular basis to drive higher partner productivity

    End-User Focus

    • Represent BMS as the complete product/solution portfolio expert in the target market segments

    • Build and execute a sales plan for target market segments

    • Meet and exceed quarterly and annual team sales quota by creating sales opportunities in the assigned market segments

    • Identify, qualify and develop new business opportunities with end-users

    • Accurately and frequently forecast business and maintain a sufficient pipeline of opportunities for each quarter with a 12 month outlook

    • Gain specification position with end-users, contractors, and industrial customers

    Education

    • Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience) Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field preferred Required

    Experience

    Minimum 7 years

    A combination of relevant experience spanning the following areas:

    • Experience in outside sales and independently managing accounts to reach sales objectives

    • Experience with labeling solutions and mobile printers

    • Experience in the information technology & industrial business sectors

    Software/Technical Skills

    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Intermediate Required

    • Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system (preferably SAP C4C) Basic Preferred

    Other Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

    • Ability to penetrate and navigate large, complex organizations to create sales opportunities, including understanding and working with their decision-making process to produce sales results Required

    • Ability to find new customers and opportunities Required

    • Ability to identify market needs and create solutions with a strong value proposition Required

    • Strong communication skills (verbal, written, interpersonal) Required

    • Ability to create and deliver strong sales and marketing strategy presentations Required

    • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, demonstrating a strong customer-centric focus Required

    • In-depth understanding of sales & marketing principles Required

    • The salary (or hiring) range for this position is $95,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year

    • Starting salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location, and alignment with market data

    • This position is eligible to participate in the relevant Brother variable pay incentive plan(s). Applicable bonus awards are discretionary and contingent upon 1) achievement of your individual objectives and 2) Brother achieving its corporate and business-level objectives
