The Role at a Glance
The Manager, Marketing, LAC (Latin America & Caribbean) develops the strategy and manages the execution of the marketing plans that help to build brand awareness and preference, drive sales, and establish Brother as the preferred brand in the target markets. The role's focus is on the Latin America & Caribbean territories, including but not limited to Central America, Caribbean, Colombia, Ecuador, with an emphasis on long-term penetration of customer segments in Printing, Scanning, and Labeling products.
The role works collaboratively with other internal groups including but not limited to: Sales, Operations, Product, Finance, HR and Legal, to develop strategies, and effective execution to not only achieve, but exceed sales and budget goals, driving, and maintaining growth and gaining critical market share.
The Manager demonstrates strong leadership, effective management of internal and external teams, as well as key agencies and vendors, and channel partners such as retailers, eCom players, resellers, and end users.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Strategic Marketing
Achieve a clear understanding of Customer Segments
Develop positioning and value propositions
Develop effective and clear messaging that generates brand awareness, preference, and differentiation
Understand different customer journeys from awareness to conversion and advocacy
Campaign Strategy, Development, Execution & Reporting
Lead the annual marketing plan and budget execution
Provide strategic direction for marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness, leads, and establishing Brother as the preferred brand
Execute and manage end-to-end campaigns
Creative innovation: work with agencies to develop and manage creative ideas, campaigns, and promotional programs that achieve outstanding conversion and loyalty
Assemble a team of external Vendors/Agencies and manage them effectively
Ensure all campaigns are designed to achieve measurable results and ROI; develop relevant KPIs, analyze performance and recommend opportunities for improvement
Work with Finance/Credit, Sales, and Operations to effectively manage all programs and promotion mechanics and processing
Create or repurpose content to leverage in campaigns
Lead product launches and key seasonal activities
Channel Marketing
Manage, allocate and oversee all the Channel Marketing Initiatives within Central America, Colombia, Ecuador, and the Caribbean Countries
Develop a solid Retail/eCom partner program that can serve as the annual framework for promotional, pricing, and other joint initiatives with each retail account
Design a comprehensive Sell out strategy, that will achieve goals in physical as well as in eCom environments
Work with channel partners to expand the reach of our existing marketing efforts, measuring performance by monitoring partner outreach and results of any combined activities
Co-create combined messaging, promotions, or campaigns with partners to drive demand
Collaborate with Sales, Business Development, and Operations teams to develop integrated partner programs
Participate and organize trade shows, training and webinars
Digital/Social Media Strategy
Develop and oversee company's digital and social media strategy, with the goal of increasing brand awareness and customer and teams' engagement
Reporting, Communications, and Other Administration
Develop relevant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), analyze performance to determine return-on-investment (ROI) and make recommendations for improvement
Communicate activities to management on a monthly basis
Key Experience & Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience) in Business, Marketing, or related field- required
Experience
Minimum 7 years
A combination of relevant experience spanning the following areas:
Developing & executing marketing strategy
Developing effective B2C marketing campaigns, managing execution, measuring performance, and enhancing tactics to drive continuous improvement and revenue
Managing channel marketing programs
Managing product launches and creating product marketing messages
Managing social media platforms
Languages
Spanish- Required
Software/Technical Skills
Customer Relationship Management Software (Salesforce Intermediate preferred)
Marketing Automation Platform (Eloqua or similar preferred)
Other Skills, Knowledge, & Abilities
Ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects under pressure and execute on tight deadlines
Ability to collaborate and to achieve desired results by building trust and relationships with different functions in the organization

Compensation & Schedule for This Role
25% travel in Central America, Caribbean, Colombia, Ecuador

The salary (or hiring) range for this position is $ 100,000.00 - $ 120,000.00 per year
Starting salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location, and alignment with market data
This position is eligible to participate in the relevant Brother variable pay incentive plan(s). Applicable bonus awards are discretionary and contingent upon 1) achievement of your individual objectives and 2) Brother achieving its corporate and business-level objectives

About Where We Work
Brother's corporate headquarters for the Americas is in Bridgewater, NJ, across from the Bridgewater Commons Mall. This location houses key corporate functions, including HR, legal, finance, IT, and supply chain, and a significant presence of our business unit leadership and marketing teams. Our manufacturing and distribution facility in Bartlett, TN spans an impressive 1.5 million square feet - equivalent to 26 football fields - and is located on Brother Boulevard. In addition to the distribution center operations team, this facility hosts several other departments, including our customer service group. Brother also has employees based in other locations, such as Westminster, CO, where many of our marketing and product engineering team members from the mobile solutions division operate, as well as our distribution centers in Richmond, VA and Perris, CA. Additionally, our outside sales teams work remotely within their territories, staying geographically close to the accounts they support to ensure they are always "at your side" for our customers.
