This is a highly important position that demands the leader to understand how the business creates value. They serve as a crucial connection between strategy and execution. The Senior Manager's main responsibility is to develop and manage capability roadmaps with the collaboration of business stakeholders to achieve specific desired business outcomes and strategic objectives. Moreover, this role requires effective and consistent communication with stakeholders and cross-functional relationship management skills. The Senior Manager is accountable for prioritizing cross-functional project portfolios and enhancement backlogs to inform product roadmaps and ensure that IT resources are utilized efficiently to execute projects on time and within budget.
The individual holding this role is responsible for escalating issues and driving consensus among various stakeholder groups within the Business and IT organizations. Developing and maintaining solid relationships with key stakeholders is a crucial position requirement.
In this role, the Senior Manager will:
• Develop and continuously improve capability roadmaps in collaboration with business stakeholders to inform Product Roadmaps and IT resourcing needs to meet business objectives.
• Help the business identify technology opportunities to optimize or transform business operations; gain efficiencies through automation or other reduction of non-value add activities.
• Aid the Business Analysts in documenting the impacts of new strategies on people, processes, and technology to ensure successful technology implementation and adoption.
• Be responsible for the communication, reporting, and leading meetings to ensure business stakeholders are aligned and projects and enhancements progress to plan.
In this role, the Senior Manager, IT Business Partner, will oversee and manage relationships within Enterprise Operations, which includes OTC, PTP, RTR, and IBP (integrated business planning.)
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Creation, Management, and Execution of Capability Roadmap
Own the creation, management, and execution of capability roadmaps in collaboration with business stakeholders
Collaborate with business stakeholders develop multi-year roadmaps outlining distinct projects and enhancement requirements to achieve goals and produce value for the business.
Help guide business stakeholders on the best way to sequence capabilities to ensure business value is achieved when and as expected.
Work with business analysts to document potential impacts of change and create content to aid socialization to ensure that these impacts are well understood when planning projects and/or enhancements. This will help in the execution phase to ensure proper adoption and that the expected business value is achieved.
In collaboration with Business Analysts, ensure business requirements are documented appropriately so that technical requirements are easily understood
Relationship Management
Create content to help drive consensus among key stakeholders and delivery teams, including EPMO, architecture, engineering, and product management organizations.
Provide reporting, in a concise, informative manner to ensure business stakeholders are up to date on status of projects and enhancements and to enable them to make informed decisions
Identify what is needed to have productive conversations and motivate team members to execute tasks.
Collaborate often with Business Stakeholders, EPMO, Data Enablement, and internal IT teams to remove blockers and resolve issues
Portfolio Management, Prioritization with Business of Roadmap Items, Drive Business Alignment
Own Prioritization of Projects and Enhancements, in your specific area driving cross-functional product owner alignment where needed.
Manage the backlog of enhancements.
Collaborate with Portfolio manager, product owners, and engineering to ensure IT Supply can meet IT Demand
Collaborate with the Portfolio Manager, Finance to ensure projects and enhancements are planned appropriately and tracking to budget
ABOUT OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE
Education
Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience) in Finance, Business Operations, Information Technology, or related field - Preferred
8+ Years of Experience Spanning the Following Areas:
Managing Capability Maps for complex, multi-divisional, and global companies
Successfully delivering high-quality solutions in complex environments
Driving consensus in cross-functional teams with conflicting priorities
Understanding end-to-end business processes within Finance, Operations, Planning, and Order Management
Languages
Spanish, French, & Portuguese - Preferred (none required)
Software/Technical Skills
Knowledge of business capability modeling and associated tools
ERP/WMS systems knowledge
Blue Yonder - Preferred
Other Skills, Knowledge, & Abilities
Effective leadership skills
Strong collaboration skills and ability to effectively influence others to achieve results
Ability to partner effectively with the business to find the right tech solution to enable end-to-end processes

ADDITIONAL DETAILS FOR THIS ROLE
This role will be a hybrid role. Subject to business needs, employees may work remotely up to two days per week. Assigned office days will be determined by managers. #LI-Hybrid
The salary (or hiring) range for this position is $150,000 - $170,000 per year
Starting salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location, and alignment with market data
This position is eligible to participate in the relevant Brother variable pay incentive plan(s). Applicable bonus awards are discretionary and contingent upon 1) achievement of your individual objectives and 2) Brother achieving its corporate and business-level objectives
