    The Role at a Glance

    The Senior Manager, Regional Sales mentors, trains, and holds the salespeople responsible for sales, marketing and growth in their respective territory. This position oversees the day to day sales and marketing activities of their District Sales Managers (DSMs), dealers and prospects in their assigned territory. This position works hand in hand with the senior leadership team to develop channel strategies, provide ongoing feedback, make recommendations and collaborate on policies and procedures that are developed to not only achieve but exceed sales and budget goals for the division.

    This role is a travel-prominent field based sales role, with frequent travel to accounts within the defined West-US region. Estimated 2-3 trips per month, ranging 2-4 days in length for each trip.

    Key Duties & Responsibilities

    Sales

    • Increase and improve sales volume with dealers in their assigned region

    • Increase Brother's market share with individual dealers and their territory as a whole

    • Establish new dealers in open areas within the region

    • Research current market trends and competitive activities

    • Manage, coach continually develop District Sales Managers

    • Travel with team members

    • Ensure all budget numbers are being met and DSM's are following proper procedure

    • Meet quarterly and yearly sales budget numbers for the region

    • Conduct an average of least two in store visits per day in their assigned region during non-office days

    • Sales responsibility includes travel within region no more than 70% of the time with roughly 20% of the time spent at shows and events within the region to support DSMs and dealers

    Brand Awareness

    • Promote, launch and increase brand awareness in the region

    • Increase brand awareness in dealer's stores by working with dealers to add and improve Brother branded promotions and selling areas with the store

    • Advocate for the use of information, products and services among new and existing accounts

    • Ensure Brother has premium placement in the store with proper promotions

    • Improve Brother Marketing in dealer stores through increasing their email, newspaper, TV, newspaper, events

    Account Management

    • Plan events, coordinate product training and sales/promotion training

    • Create and report accurate sales and event projections

    • Enter and maintain all relevant work-related information into CRM on a daily, weekly and monthly basis

    • Ensure the team is managing credits, co-op and KCF funds in accordance to corporate policy

    • Collaborate with other departments including Credit, Legal, Order Management, Traffic, and Warehouse to effectively service the dealers

    • Provide rapid feedback to Senior Management to ensure constant communication about accounts

    Key Experience & Qualifications

    Education

    • Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience) in Business or a related field

    Experience

    10+ years spanning:

    • Sales management in consumer products, appliances, electronics, or similar industries

    • Managing and developing a sales tea

    • Attaining aggressive sales goals

    • Using various forecasting, reports, and CRM software

    Other Skills, Knowledge, & Abilities

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills

    • Ability to develop and coach a team

    • Ability to quickly assess and define customer business needs

    • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills

    Compensation & Schedule for This Role

    • The salary (or hiring) range for this position is $ 115,000 - $ 130,000 per year

    • Starting salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location, and alignment with market data

    • This position is eligible to participate in the relevant Brother variable pay incentive plan(s). Applicable bonus awards are discretionary and contingent upon 1) achievement of your individual objectives and 2) Brother achieving its corporate and business-level objectives

    About Where We Work

    Brother's corporate headquarters for the Americas is in Bridgewater, NJ, across from the Bridgewater Commons Mall. This location houses key corporate functions, including HR, legal, finance, IT, and supply chain, and a significant presence of our business unit leadership and marketing teams. Our manufacturing and distribution facility in Bartlett, TN spans an impressive 1.5 million square feet - equivalent to 26 football fields - and is located on Brother Boulevard. In addition to the distribution center operations team, this facility hosts several other departments, including our customer service group. Brother also has employees based in other locations, such as Westminster, CO, where many of our marketing and product engineering team members from the mobile solutions division operate, as well as our distribution centers in Richmond, VA and Perris, CA.
