The Senior Specialist, Customer Education supports the strategic development of the Home Appliance Division (HAD) Product and Education initiatives, covering various products (hardware, accessories, and software). This role works closely with our Product Marketing and Education teams to elevate Brother's education programs, both with our sewing centers and consumers. This role is responsible for developing into and acting as a subject-matter expert for product, respective product training, and content creation expertise. In conjunction with the Product & Marketing team, this role aligns Marketing activities with divisional objectives and takes a role in the execution of these plans. Lastly, the Senior Specialist enjoys traveling.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Course Content Development
Assist with developing course content and procedures, including new SOWs & SOPs
Coordinate, manage, and maintain training plans in Learning Management System (LMS) and/or relevant dealer channel, end-user content
Routinely conduct needs assessments to identify education and social needs
Work cross-functionally to ensure business vision and strategy are executed
Coordinate, plan, and present at consumer trade shows (AQS, OSQE, Rusty Barns) and industry events to support sales and marketing initiatives
Manage dealer feedback, weekly reporting, key learnings, reporting to manager and leadership team
Present and participate in consumer trade shows and industry events to support sales and marketing initiatives
Support Product and Artspira Management teams by participating in the BDM cycle with BIL Japan - virtual calls and meetings, certain face-to-face meetings in the US
Training & Educational Programming
Support the development of educational programs for sewing centers, consumers, and employees
Plan and manage the creation of scripts for educational videos
Manage the copywriting, editing, sign-off, and execution of materials
Obtain appropriate approvals before the execution of projects
Seek new training opportunities that support new and existing sewing centers
Work Cross-functionally (shared services & BU) to assist with Artspira educational and project support
Manage event scheduling and reporting
Support social media team as needed
Plan and manage supplies needed for training, events, and production
Educator Support
• Perform education activities related to the Brother Experience (BEX) conference annual product launch
• Identify areas of opportunity within the education market
• Assist and coach others on video, presentation, and educational content production best practices
• Utilize all available market research data to help formulate new goto-market education concepts and ideas to combat competitive threats
• Recognize opportunities for efficiency improvement and implement innovative approaches
ABOUT OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE
Education
Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience) Marketing or related degree - Preferred
Experience
Minimum 5 years:
Hands-on experience utilizing sewing machines & crafting machines for personal and/or professional use -Required
Experience with developing training material & content creation - Required
Experience facilitating trainings and/or educational seminars - Required
Licenses and Certifications
PMP - Project Management Professional - Preferred
Software/Technical Skills
Crafting app expreience -Required
Project management software (Basic) -Preferred
Tableau (Basic) -Preferred

The salary (or hiring) range for this position is $ 85,000.00 - $ 100,000.00 per year
Starting salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location, and alignment with market data
This position is eligible to participate in the relevant Brother variable pay incentive plan(s). Applicable bonus awards are discretionary and contingent upon 1) achievement of your individual objectives and 2) Brother achieving its corporate and business-level objectives

About Where We Work
Brother's corporate headquarters for the Americas is in Bridgewater, NJ, across from the Bridgewater Commons Mall. This location houses key corporate functions, including HR, legal, finance, IT, and supply chain, and a significant presence of our business unit leadership and marketing teams. Our manufacturing and distribution facility in Bartlett, TN spans an impressive 1.5 million square feet - equivalent to 26 football fields - and is located on Brother Boulevard. In addition to the distribution center operations team, this facility hosts several other departments, including our customer service group.
