The Senior Technical Analyst, Salesforce collaborates with key stakeholders to thoroughly assess their business needs, translates those business needs into actionable requirements, and provides expert guidance to identify and implement the appropriate solutions. The Senior Technical Analyst, in the spirit of our culture at Brother, works alongside the platform team and stakeholders to design, implement, and support the salesforce ecosystem. Additionally, The Senior Technical Analyst position is a multifaceted role that will continuously challenge an individual to expand their
knowledge of the platform and utilize that knowledge to advance organizational priorities.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Solution Design and Development**
• Understand and recommend how business requirements can be
implemented using available functionality, commercially available
packages or where unique solution may be needed
• Collaborate with architects, infrastructure, and other platform teams
to develop sustainable scalable solutions that can integrate with
existing processes or systems
• Suggest solutions that enforce industry and platform best practices
with a strong preference toward declarative solutions and those that
are future proof
• Recognize process synergies and suggest opportunities to
streamline operations
• Develop prototypes of suggested solutions and facilitate interactive
refinement of those ideas
• Implement approved solutions or guide other team members in the
implementation
• Configure and customize Salesforce applications to meet business
requirements, including creating custom objects, fields, workflows,
and validation rules
• Capable to lead development efforts where multiple resource is
engaged on a single enhancement
Stakeholder Collaboration and Requirements Gathering
• Collaborate with stakeholders on capturing business requirements
and translating them into clear actionable stories
• Discover and document business processes, preferably using
Universal Process Notation (UPN). Determine systems associated
with those processes and associated impacts for changes to the
processes
• Interact with stakeholders to educate on existing and enhanced
platform capabilities
• Serve as a liaison between technical teams and business
stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective communication
System Maintenance and Support
• Review upgrade notices from Salesforce, and other associated
platforms. Provides support to admin team to understand and
implement the required changes. Identifies and communicates to
stakeholders about changed or new functionality being introduced
• Provide support to administrative team in diagnosing and correcting
issues that may arise with the platform
• Understand the Salesforce Data Model and provide guidance and
support in maintaining data integrity and security
ABOUT OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE
Education
Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science or Related Field- Required
Experience
Minimum 5 years Direct engagement with stakeholders, designing and implementing declarative Salesforce solutions including aspects of Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Experience Cloud.
Minimum 3 years
• Experience working with Salesforce platform development languages - APEX, SOQL, SOSL, Visual Force, LWC, etc.
Demonstrated understanding of Integration and Data related technologies, especially those that directly pertain to the Salesforce Platform: REST, SOAP, Import Wizard, Data Loader, ETL, Middleware, and External Services.
• Proven experience with Salesforce Administration, Maintenance and Security functionality - OAuth, Single Sign-on, Backup/Restore, Roles/Profiles/Permissions Sets, License types
Knowledge and expertise in Salesforce Change Management. Experience in using some of the following tools: Jira, Copado, Gearset, Elements. Cloud, GIT and Azure DevOps Repo.
Experience working with some of the advanced features of Salesforce such as: Digital Engagement, Digital Experience, Manufacturing Cloud, OmniStudio, Maps, Pardot, and OmniChannel Configuration.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS FOR THIS ROLE
This role will be a hybrid role. Subject to business needs, employees may work remotely up to two days per week. Assigned office days will be determined by managers.

The salary (or hiring) range for this position is $80,000 - $95,000 per year
Starting salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location, and alignment with market data
This position is eligible to participate in the relevant Brother variable pay incentive plan(s). Applicable bonus awards are discretionary and contingent upon 1) achievement of your individual objectives and 2) Brother achieving its corporate and business-level objectives

About Where We Work
Brother's corporate headquarters for the Americas is in Bridgewater, NJ, across from the Bridgewater Commons Mall. This location houses key corporate functions, including HR, legal, finance, IT, and supply chain, and a significant presence of our business unit leadership and marketing teams. Our manufacturing and distribution facility in Bartlett, TN spans an impressive 1.5 million square feet - equivalent to 26 football fields - and is located on Brother Boulevard. In addition to the distribution center operations team, this facility hosts several other departments, including our customer service group. Brother also has employees based in other locations, such as Westminster, CO, where many of our marketing and product engineering team members from the mobile solutions division operate, as well as our distribution centers in Richmond, VA and Perris, CA.
