• Given clear goals, can work independently to accomplish such goals.
• IC Operation and CMOS Fundamentals: Strong understanding of integrated circuit operation and CMOS fundamentals, including process variation and statistical characterization at advanced process nodes (5nm, 3nm, etc.).
• IP Characterization and Liberty Modeling: Proven expertise in IP characterization and Liberty modeling, a deep understanding of various Liberty formats, including NLDM, CCS, ECSM, LVF, EM, Aging, and others.
• Industry-Standard Solutions: Hands-on experience with industry-standard characterization solutions such as Liberate or Siliconsmart/Primelib.
• Scripting and Automation: Proficient in automation skills using Tcl, Python, and shell scripting to streamline characterization workflows.
• Domain-Specific Experience: Experience with Standard cells, Complex I/O's, Memory, Macro, and Mixed-Signal characterization is highly desirable. Library Validation experience is a plus.
• Cadence Tool Expertise: Familiarity with Cadence Liberate and the Cadence Spectre Circuit Simulator is a plus.
• Should have a Bachelors' or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering with a minimum 3-5 years of related working experience.
• Has strong written and verbal English communication skills.
