Intern: Application Engineering - Custom IC

Internship and training on the Application Engineering field under guidance of senior engineers

• Help with technical support to customers and field personnel in any one of these areas: Schematic capture, Analog and AMS/RF simulation.

• Assistance in root cause analysis and provide resolution to customer technical issue

• Follow up with customer test cases to verify problems, create workarounds, when possible, test and deliver R&D fixes.

• Close collaboration with R&D on issues using established protocols.

• Author application notes and help provide feedback on documentation

Requirements:

• Enrollment in a BS in Electrical, Electronics, System Engineering, computer science or related areas on progress

• One to two years to graduate

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Interest in learning new technologies

• Open to continued personal development to meet the evolving demands of the EDA industry

• Good problem-solving skills

Nice to have:

Basic understanding or University knowledge and contact with any of these:

• Virtuoso, ADE platforms, scripting languages such as TCL and Python.

Additional Job Details:

• 20 hours/week.

• Location: Av Contorno 5800, Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais Brazil.
