    Job Summary
    As Product Engineer you are responsible for capturing requirements and driving the development of Cadence' next generation heterogenous integration for high-frequency multi-chip module design and packaging solution. You will work cross-functionally with Product Marketing and R&D teams to deliver best-in-class products for our customers. The ideal candidate has 2-3 years of experience in using the Cadence Virtuoso Design platform.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Drive the development of advanced RF- and Analog System design flows.

    • Work closely with customers to understand their requirements for multi-chip module design, implementation and analysis flows.

    • Generate demos and Rapid Adoption Kits (RAKs) to allow the sales team to market our products. Deliver demos and trainings as needed.

    • Generate Product Requirement Specifications (PRS) and interface with R&D team to drive product development.

    • Provide technical presentations at customer meetings and trade shows.

    • Debug tool issues, provide work-arounds, and file bug reports and enhancement requests

    • Partner with Product Validation teams to ensure proper validation and provide regression testing.

    Experience and Technical Skills required:

    • Minimum of 4 to 8 years of relevant industry experience.

    • Experience with connectivity driven analog circuit design in the Virtuoso.

    • Experience with Electromagnetic and/or Thermal Analysis using Cadence or competitor tools.

    • Familiarity with the SKILL programming language and ability to write SKILL utilities.

    • Experience with packaging techniques in Allegro Package Designer preferred.

    Qualifications

    • BE/BTech/ME/MS/MTech in Computer Science/Electrical/Electronics

    Behavioral skills required

    • Must possess strong written, verbal and presentation skills

    • Ability to establish a close working relationship with both customer peers and management
