Principal Application Engineer in digital

Job Responsibilities:

• Support leading edge IC/ASIC design and Implementation using Cadence IC Digital Implementation products e.g. Genus, Innovus.

• Participate in bringing up new flows at customer sites.

• Help deliver update trainings at customer sites.

• Use skills/knowledge to debug issues and work directly on customer IC/ASIC design projects.

• Provide technical support to sales team to identify opportunities to proliferate Cadence products.

• Communicate customer requirements and feedback to the Engineering and Marketing organizations for product direction/improvements.

Job Qualifications:

• Education: Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Microelectronics, or a related discipline. 5 to 15 years of experience in microelectronics/EDA industry.

• Languages: Fluent in French and English.

• Experience in digital IC/ASIC implementation.

• Expected to have knowledge of Verilog/VHDL hardware description language.

• Have a working knowledge of UNIX/Linux, C-shell, TCL/TK programming and scripting.

• Knowledge of Machine Learning would be advantageous.

• Experience with IC Digital Implementation tools - ideally Genus, Innovus & Tempus. Any additional knowledge of Conformal, Quantus, Voltus would be advantageous.
