Simulations will often involve complex physics including acoustics and combustion.
Requirements:
• MS in Mechanical Engineering/Aerospace Engineering (or related degree) + 3 years of relevant experience or PhD in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering (or related degree)
• In depth knowledge of Large Eddy Simulation, aero acoustics, combustion, and multiphase flows
• Working knowledge of Linux and CPU/GPU based high performance computing systems
• General understanding of numerical methods used in CFD
• Demonstrated experience with Python or C++
• Experience using CFD software to perform simulations of industrial applications. This includes geometry preparation, meshing, simulation, and post-processing of results.
The annual salary range for California is $131,600 to $244,400. You may also be eligible to receive incentive compensation: bonus, equity, and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure.
