Product Validation Engineer II

Job Overview:

Join the Test & Validation team to design and scale automated validation for WEB features across our product portfolio supplemented with manual exploratory testing. You'll work within Agile SDLC, test new functionality as it lands, and partner with developers to ensure intuitive, reliable interfaces and smooth release roll-outs. Expand regression coverage sprint by sprint, with a focus on building automation for deployment and release. Collaborate closely with cross-functional QA and engineering teams to strengthen our end-to-end quality process.

Job Responsibilities:

• Creating and maintaining our Cypress Automation test suite and expanding our test coverage when new features are developed.

• Work with our Front End and Back End development teams to identify test areas and scenarios.

• Create and maintain a growing suite of automation tests.

• Identify and raise bugs into our tracking system (JIRA) and follow them until their release.

• Be a crucial part of deploying and rolling out our product to a live download portal for customers to upgrade

• Creation of internal test documentation with clear written repeatable steps

• To be involved in Sprint planning, estimation and feature design meetings

• Validating API calls and exploratory testing with Postman

Job Qualifications:

• Engineering degree or similar

• At least 2 years in a previous Automation WEB QA role

• Building Test Automation frameworks using Cypress

• Experience with both Windows and Linux platform testing

• Experienced in following Agile development process

• Experienced in creating Automation regression tests in Cypress

• Experienced in using python or similar

• ISTQB Foundation

• Experienced in using NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB

Nice to have but not essential

• Database tools such as Studio3T
• Performance experience using JMeter
• Visual studio
• Node JS
• Data centre IT experience
