Must have a deep technical knowledge and understanding of the digital design flow from RTL to GDSII including high-level synthesis, RTL synthesis, static timing analysis, power analysis/optimization, equivalence checking, DFT, digital implementation, place and route, electrical signoff, and physical signoff.
Must have a proven track-record demonstrating ability to identify and understand customer's technical and business challenges and the ability to drive cross-functional teams to manage projects internally and manage campaigns externally with customers.
Must have a knowledge of AI/ML digital design and optimization methods and associated EDA technology awareness.
Must have ability converse with and influence upper-level management technology and business discussions to help drive multi-million-dollar, complex sales campaigns.
An understanding of the capability and competitive value provided by Cadence digital design and implementation tools, flows, and solutions, and the ability lead Cadence technical teams connect those to customer needs.
An understanding of digital requirements, ecosystems, and certification/assurance requirements in aerospace/defense, automotive, industrial, and medical markets.
An understanding of mixed-signal IC design and package design.
Knowledge of the complete sales process, services SOW process, strong communication skills, and the ability to interact with engineering and financial staff at all levels.
Results driven with a proven track record of successfully managing conflicting priorities and meeting goals.
Experience:
10+ years of professional experience in the electronic design environment
7+ years of experience in pre-sales roles
Education:
MS or BS Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering
MBA is a plus
