ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain a total facilities systems management program, which includes all the various connected and separate electrical, mechanical, life, and safety systems that are operational in a facility
Follow all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency, and company directives regarding system operations and work safety
Inspect systems to ensure equipment operation is within design capabilities and achieves the client's prescribed operational conditions
Responsible for programming, inspecting, troubleshooting, and adjusting electrical and mechanical equipment, instrumentation, and related information systems
Respond quickly to emergencies, summoning assistance as needed
Review assigned work orders. Estimate time and resources and order vital materials to finish the repairs
Perform assigned repairs and emergency and preventive maintenance. Complete maintenance and repair records as required
Finish the required and assigned training at a satisfactory level
Participate in all related programs & activities as required. This includes incident investigations, interviews, auditing, and assessment
Report any conditions that could result in an accident or injury and stop work if required.
Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions
Mentor others and share in-depth knowledge of their own job discipline and broad understanding of several job disciplines within the function
Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement
Impact a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities within own team and other related teams
Work within broad guidelines and policies
Explain complex or critical information.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
A High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience is preferred. A combination of experience and education will be considered in lieu of a diploma. Licenses or certifications as may be required by local applicable law or ordinance are also preferred. Prior shift leader or supervisory experience is preferred
Meet the physical requirements of this role, including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more
Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information
Willingness to take a new point of view on existing solutions
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc
Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive approach.

Washington Residents: CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Building Automation System Engineer position is $65,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Building Automation System Engineer position is $80,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience
