to support corporate strategy and related strategic initiatives across our growing SaaS business. This role will be based at CCC's global headquarters in Chicago's Fulton Market. The Manager reports to the Director of Corporate Strategy and will frequently interact with the Group Vice President of Strategy, Chief Strategy Officer, and other company leaders.
Responsibilities span a wide range, including market and competitive assessments, supporting go to market strategies and customer pitches, managing the strategic planning process, and assisting with the preparation of materials for Board of Directors meetings. In this unique position, the Manager's work will be visible to CCC's entire Executive Leadership Team, including the CEO and CFO.
The Manager will gain valuable cross functional experience and play a meaningful role in advancing CCC's growth agenda and strategic initiatives. Strong performers will have opportunities to take on additional responsibilities and pursue numerous avenues for career advancement within the company, based on individual interests and business needs. Previous consulting experience is strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct market scans and identify new growth opportunities
Conduct strategic assessments of partnership and/or M&A opportunities
Perform competitive analyses in support of CCC's business priorities
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (e.g., Sales, Product Management, Product Development, Finance) to help drive business objectives
Manage the ongoing strategic planning process to inform strategic priorities and capital allocation
Support development of discussion materials for the Board of Directors
Develop pitch materials for key customer meetings, including opportunities in new or adjacent markets
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree required
2-4 years of consulting experience, ideally including business and/or growth strategy assignments
Strong performance in academic settings as well as in current and previous professional roles
Proven experience creating PowerPoint slides and presentations for consulting engagements
Strong problem-solving skills with ability to quickly distill data sets into key insights
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to discuss and explain critical issues and opportunities to senior business leaders
Self-starter who is comfortable with ambiguity, collaboration, and working independently
