Position summary

  • Maintain compliance standards within all facilities that align with board of pharmacy regulations, and company policies.

  • Define and deliver exceptional customer experience goals for both veterinary partners and Chewy pharmacy customers.

  • Accountable for all performance metrics of the front-end pharmacy including safety, compliance, people, quality, and cost.

  • Create effective partnerships with enterprise stakeholders along with internal HR, finance, and regional pharmacist leadership.

  • Create a culture of customer experience that leverages continuous improvement tools to exceed veterinary and customer expectations.

  • Utilize industry knowledge to recommend policies and programs, which guide the organization in maintaining and improving its competitive position and the profitability of the operation.

  • Lead, develop, and coach site leaders to build successful/engaged teams focused on providing top-tier veterinary and customer service.

  • Leverage proactive and reactive customer feedback to develop system and process enhancements needed to improve delivery experience.

  • Successful delivery of complex projects from ideation to execution in partnership with internal and external teams.

  • Influence business partners for resources and support needed to grow market share in pet health segment.

  • Ability to leverage broad data sources and develop reporting to make business decisions.

  • Communicate with senior leadership on business performance, project updates, and resource prioritization.

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university

  • 10+ years direct management experience, including a salaried workforce, in a pharmacy, healthcare, or ecommerce environment.

  • Located in, or able to relocate to, Louisville, KY or Pittston, PA.

  • Ability to acquire and maintain an active pharmacy technician or pharmacist status in KY or PA (depending on location).

  • Pharmacy/healthcare experience strongly desired

  • Experience with performance metrics, process improvement, and project management.

  • Experience with the full staffing lifecycle, including interviewing, hiring, performance management, promotions, and terminations.

  • Candidates must be flexible to work a variety of hours as business demands, including overnight, weekends and holidays.

  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time to support full pharmacy network.
