Work cross-functionally with the broader Finance team, Supply Chain, and Accounting to fully understand the business, its customers, and overall operations.
Actively participate in the target setting, and annual/quarterly planning processes.
Lead all aspects of the monthly close process ensuring books and records are accurately maintained in accordance with Chewy's policies and procedures.
Pursue continuous improvement in all areas of the business with an emphasis on Merchandising, Operations, Supply Chain, Accounting, and Finance.
Optimally lead numerous projects at a given time in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Need:
BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Management, or Economics.
0-1-year relevant finance experience with a basic understanding of GAAP and grasp of financial statements.
Financial analysis and modeling skills, and experience in forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and variance analysis.
Sophisticated Excel (i.e. VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.) and PowerPoint skills.
Experience with SQL coding, Hyperion Smartview, Tableau, and Oracle ERP is a plus.
Ability to think creatively, work independently and as part of a team to tackle problems given limited resources and time, have a strong work ethic, and carry out to deadlines.
Able to work with ambiguity and changing priorities.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
