Position summary

  • Autonomously complete tasks within the track owned for a given system.

  • Identify risks, issues, or potential defects in any phase of the project life cycle and handle them through closure.

  • Develop important metrics to drive catalog management to enable scale

  • Provide project collaborators with information relevant to making decisions that may improve the quality of applications.

  • Synthesize large quantities of complex data into usable/actionable information and provide in-depth business insights through data analysis on process outputs and operational performance.

  • Participate in system implementation projects, including requirements documentation, systems configuration, test documentation/execution, and issue identification/resolution.

  • Develop and implement strategies to streamline catalog management processes, applying automation and process re-engineering.

  • Build data visualizations using tools like Tableau to derive insights into catalog and pricing performance and support strategic decision-making.

  • Support defect reporting, triage, and resolution management, working closely with multi-functional teams to resolve defects promptly and effectively.

  • Provide support to end users as a priority when it impacts business or create a Standard Operating Procedure manual for systems.

What You'll Need:

  • BA in Computer Science, Information Management, Economics, Finance, Math, Statistics, or a related field with an emphasis on analytics and quantitative skills

  • 3+ years of experience in a business systems or merchandising analytics capacity as a subject-matter expert.

  • Advanced experience with Microsoft suite of office products.

  • Highly proficient in SQL and Tableau.

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.

  • Ability to think and react in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.

  • Good communication (verbal/written) and interpersonal skills to convey key insights from complex analysis in summarized business terms and effectively communicate with technical teams.

  • An entrepreneurial approach and a driving passion to change, challenge, and improve current processes.

  • Prior experience in Software Quality Processes and Atlassian Tools such as (Confluence and JIRA.).

  • Position may require occasional travel.

Bonus:

  • Relevant work experience using Python or R for data analytics.

  • Prior experience with ERP systems.

  • E-commerce background is a plus.
