What You'll Do:
Own end-to-end planning and execution of inventory purchasing through fulfillment for large segment of our business
Deliver the optimal customer experience by ensuring we have the right product quantities, in the right places, at the right time
Lead high-impact, cross-functional initiatives with Merchandising, Finance, Vendor Compliance, EDI, and others to build the plans and operational rigor to scale our business
Act decisively and independently, taking initiative to move work forward
Partner with technology and product teams to drive improvement in systems, tools and processes.
Drive forecasting accuracy and bias improvements
Analyze multiple, large data sets to identify actionable insights that drive improvement across Chewy's broader Instock organization.
Develop project white papers or project plans. Create larger written documents that require input from multiple cross-functional contributors.
Drive continuous improvement through automation and standardization to scale the business
Help to design, validate, and institutionalize best practices within the Instock organization.
What You'll Need:
7+ years of relevant experience in Supply Chain
MBA/MS (preferably in General Management, Finance or Supply Chain) or BS/BA in Supply Chain, Business Administration or Business Management, Management, Economics, Finance, Engineering or related field
Strong written, verbal, analytical and problem-solving skills and experience with statistical modeling
Proven experience and understanding of purchasing, forecasting, and inventory management
Strong Analytical tool kit including advanced proficiency with Excel and SQL.
Track record of taking ownership and delivering results in a fast-paced, data-driven environment
Position may require occasional travel
A Plus if You Have:
Ecommerce experience
Tableau, R, Python, or KNIME experience
Experience with traditional Project Management
Lean/Six Sigma experience
