Position summary

this role, you can expect to**

  • Act as an evangelist for design and our members

  • Partner with cross functional colleagues to create products that bring positive change to our members lives and grow the company

  • Provide design critique and offer leadership to others on the team

  • Use a human-centered design process to solve member problems

  • Contribute to our design standards and push them forward

To thrive in this role, you have

  • 7+ years of experience

  • A consistent record of building successful consumer mobile apps

  • A portfolio of industry defining visual and interaction design samples

  • The ability to balance business objectives with user needs. You represent both sides and balance your design decisions, getting the best possible outcome for both

  • The ability to take a first principles approach to sophisticated problems and articulate the decisions behind every design detail

  • A growth mindset, be an optimist, and be adaptable! We're a fast growing company and are learning as we grow

  • Ability to code or build a prototype is a plus
