    Position summary

    candidate has a strong background in Digital Cinema or a closely related field, is highly proficient with technology and system-level solutions, and can effectively evaluate and communicate the technical and business implications of vendor offerings.

    Responsibilities:

    • Hands-on testing, evaluation, and documentation of equipment for domestic and international deployment.

    • Collaborate with internal teams to align Cinemark's requirements with vendor capabilities.

    • Build and maintain relationships with external suppliers and industry partners.

    • Guide suppliers through product development to meet Cinemark's standards.

    • Manage, train, and develop assigned technical staff.

    • Develop and maintain testing processes and documentation.

    • Present findings and product demos to stakeholders.

    • Identify opportunities for process and product optimization.

    • Support resolution of complex field issues in collaboration with Tier-3 and QA teams.

    Requirements:

    • Strong background in Cinema, Pro/Venue, or Display industries; networking experience is a plus.

    • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field or 5-10 years of relevant experience, including supervisory roles.

    • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel; experience with AI analytics is a plus.

    • Strong analytical and business acumen.

    • Excellent time management and communication skills.

    • Ability to work on-site; this is not a remote position.

    • Passion for learning and applying new technologies.

    • Experience with ServiceNow is a plus.

    • Comfortable using lab equipment (e.g., voltmeters, oscilloscopes, light/sound meters).

    • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as needed.

    • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varied temperature environments.

    • Proven dependability, organizational skills, and communication abilities.

    • Positive attitude and strong work ethic.

    • Multilingual fluency (especially Portuguese or Spanish) is a plus.

    • Prior experience managing small to mid-sized teams (2-5+ years).
