Senior Director, Inventory & Distribution

e inventory management strategies. - Oversee inventory planning, forecasting, and replenishment processes. - Ensure accurate inventory records and optimize inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing costs.

• Supply Chain Management Strategy:

  • Lead the development and execution of the supply chain management strategy.
  • Identify and implement best practices to improve supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturers, and logistics partners to ensure seamless supply chain operations.

• Cross-Functional Leadership and Collaboration:

  • Work closely with other departments, including Sourcing, Accounting, Finance, and Operations, to align inventory and distribution strategies with business goals.
  • Lead and mentor a team of inventory and distribution professionals.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.

• Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and evaluate inventory and distribution performance.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on inventory levels, distribution efficiency, and other relevant metrics to senior management.

• Risk Management:

  • Identify potential risks in the inventory and distribution processes and develop mitigation strategies.

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in inventory management, supply chain management, or a related field, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.

• Experience with inventory management software and systems.

Preferred Skills:

• Certification in supply chain management (e.g., APICS, CSCP).

• Experience in a similar industry or sector.

• Lean 6 Sigma Black Belt Certification a plus
