Maintain a safe working environment.
Works within the Cinemark ticketing system.
Ticket prioritization and trends analysis
Troubleshoots to determine the root cause of issues before determining to call in outside vendors to resolve.
Uses independent discretion to determine whether theatre maintenance staff should be able to handle given maintenance requests.
May train theatre staff or theatre maintenance staff on performing simpler or more routine maintenance tasks.
Maintain a clean professional appearance
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Keeps Cinemark-owned tools and supplies safely maintained, cleaned, orderly, and organized.
Removes and disposes of trash, broken parts, and supplies from repair areas once completed.
Cleans and organizes the designated Maintenance storage areas and assigned vehicle.
Confers with Manager as needed to plan workload & travel to theatre sites.
Parts management through Cinemark inventory system.
Properly utilizes Personal Protective Equipment while completing position specific tasks
Monitors safety and security issues in work areas.
Performs other work-related duties as assigned
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in related field
EPA 608 Universal Certification
Class A or B license with R endorsement.
Expertise in multiple trades a plus. Electrical, plumbing, and flooring preferred
Familiarity with power tools
Willing to work at elevated heights including an aerial work platform
Safe driving record and current drivers license
Availability to work flexible hours which may include non-operating hours and early mornings.
Requires regular and consistent attendance
Has an energetic and friendly attitude while working
Provides excellent service
Interpersonal skills include the ability to communicate (verbal and written) with all ages, genders, and personalities. Must be able to effectively and regularly converse in and comprehend English
Ability to work in a team environment and independently
Ability to take and follow direction
Responds with a sense of urgency
Ability to accurately track mileage and expenses
Ability to maneuver in limited-space areas (restroom stalls, auditorium seat rows, etc.)
Ability to safely mix chemicals
Ability to safely dispose of used chemicals in compliance with state and local regulations
Physical and Environmental Requirements:
Frequent bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
Frequent standing, walking and reaching
Ability to carry, push, and pull objects
Noise level may be moderate to high at times
Be able to work in a standing position for extended periods of time
