Assist students with career exploration of academic options and set academic goals
Maintain regular communication and outreach with at-risk student populations
Help students navigate college and understand procedures
Provide internal CNM resources and external community resources to improve academic outcomes including persistence and completion.
Provide transfer advisement support and understand higher education core and transfer requirements
Coach students to appropriate solutions regarding their academic and professional goals
Provide training and workshops for faculty, staff, and students
Develop productive working relationships with success team members and academic affairs partners for cohesive student service
Collaborate with other departments, divisions, and community partners (including but not limited to higher ed institutions, industry partners, and community support agencies)
Participate in student recruitment, retention, and success efforts for the college
May manage work-study students
Performs other related duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree Two (2) years of advisement or related experience
