Duties & Responsibilities
Participate in school and college activities such as, but not limited to, developing new curriculum or student recruitment.
Collaborate with faculty and staff from other schools/departments to promote communication, coordinate schedules, and support student success.
Collaborate with high schools, universities, business and industry or external agencies as appropriate, and assist with program advisory committees as requested.
Support collegiality by actively participating in the professional development of new and veteran faculty (for example, mentoring, peer observations).
Serve on department, school, and college committees and task teams.
Participate in and assist with student activities and clubs.
Participate in other activities as appropriate and approved by the dean.
Performs other job related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Master's Degree in a closely related field
Or
Bachelor's Degree in a closely related field and recent industry-recognized training or certification.
Preferences:
Computing, hardware, and software experience•
CISCO CCNA certification or able to obtain within one year•
CISCO certified instructor or able to obtain within one year•
COMPTIA A+ and Network+ Certifications (or ability to certify)•
Ability to teach COMPTIA A+ courses•
Ability to teach Linux courses•
High School and/or College teaching experience

This facility is a specialized site that serves as a hub for High school aged and adult learners in education and workforce development in the Ro Rancho area. This position primarily involves teaching in-person classes scheduled across mornings, afternoons, and evenings.
