    Position summary

    procurement proposals.

    • Ensure availability of materials for instructors and support demonstrations.

    • Guide students in safe equipment usage and troubleshoot equipment issues.

    • Assist instructors in evaluations, conduct lab tours, and ensure safety compliance.

    • Oversee hiring, management, and scheduling of work/study students.

    • Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements.

    • Provide technical support for computers, software, and related equipment.

    • Support students in reviewing course material and problem-solving.

    • Foster a supportive and cordial learning environment.

    • Performs other related duties as assigned.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or GED

    • Successful completion of thirty (30) hours of postsecondary course work

    • AND

    • A minimum of nine (9) hours in the specific discipline; content courses must be completed with a grade of B or better

    Preferences:

    • Experience working in an academic environment

    • Experience with Windows, Mac, and Virtual Desktop systems

    • Experience with Microsoft Office

    • Experience tutoring at a college level

    • Experience maintaining and troubleshooting computer lab equipment
