Guide students in safe equipment usage and troubleshoot equipment issues.
Assist instructors in evaluations, conduct lab tours, and ensure safety compliance.
Oversee hiring, management, and scheduling of work/study students.
Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements.
Provide technical support for computers, software, and related equipment.
Support students in reviewing course material and problem-solving.
Foster a supportive and cordial learning environment.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED
Successful completion of thirty (30) hours of postsecondary course work
AND
A minimum of nine (9) hours in the specific discipline; content courses must be completed with a grade of B or better
Preferences:
Experience working in an academic environment
Experience with Windows, Mac, and Virtual Desktop systems
Experience with Microsoft Office
Experience tutoring at a college level
Experience maintaining and troubleshooting computer lab equipment
