**Position Summary**  
Performs routine custodial work.  
**Duties & Responsibilities**  
  

-   Clean and sanitize restrooms, classrooms, office suites, common space, lunch, and break areas; empty all trash and recycling containers; washes window sills, walls, doors, and furniture; clean whiteboards and trays; vacuum, sweep, and mop all hallways, walkways, and stairways.
-   Perform break work duties including stripping, waxing, sealing, and buffing floors; spot clean and shampoo carpets.
-   Respond to requests for special moving, clean-up, or set-up tasks as assigned by Lead Custodian or M&O Supervisor.
-   Respond to emergency spill clean-up requests.
-   Report repairs to Lead Custodian or M&O Supervisor.
-   Performs other related duties of a similar nature and level as assigned.
-   Employees are required to comply with safety regulations, procedures, protocols, OSHA standards, and wear personal protective gear if required.

  
**Minimum Qualifications:**  
  

-   High school diploma or GED and previous experience preferred
-   Department PPD
