Duties & Responsibilities
Plans, researches, and develops diverse simulation scenarios for academic programs like Health, Safety, and Emergency Services.
Manages, configures, troubleshoots, and coordinates technical infrastructure, including servers, IP configurations, Wi-Fi, and audio-visual systems.
Operates and troubleshoots high-fidelity mannequins, overseeing system updates and conducting diagnostic testing.
Provides comprehensive technical support for task trainers, simulators, and multimedia peripherals, ensuring seamless simulation experiences.
Implements simulation scenarios and collaborates with faculty and staff to integrate simulation into education curricula.
Handles and organizes medical supplies, including mock medications and healthcare devices.
Ensures compliance with safety regulations, including OSHA standards and privacy policies.
Safely transports simulation equipment and mannequins between facilities.
Reviews simulation contracts, ensuring adherence to institutional policies.
Conducts simulation demonstrations and provides technical assistance to instructors and students.
Manages theatrical productions for realistic simulations, including costuming and props.
Engages in continuous professional development and training to stay updated on technological advancements and best practices.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Direct Patient Care, Higher Education, Instructional Technology and Design, Simulation-based Learning, Information Technology Systems, Film, and/or Theater.
