Simulation Laboratory Specialist

spent as a standardized patient (actor in the role of a patient) and student orientation.

• Setup and clean-up of simulation activities including props to stage the scene, medical moulage, supplies used in the scenario, and basic preventative maintenance for simulation equipment.

• Learning Space administration and utilization including creation of user groups and simulation events.

• Individual Professional development and training of faculty and staff to use simulation equipment.

• Performs other related duties of a similar nature and level as assigned.

• Employees are required to comply with safety regulations, procedures, protocols, OSHA standards, and wear personal protective gear if required.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent, AND Three (3) years of relevant work experience in any of the following fields:

  • Direct Patient Care, Higher Education, Instructional Technology and Design, Simulation-based Learning, Information Technology Systems, Film, and/or Theater.

OR

• Associates degree, AND One (1) year of relevant work experience in any of the following fields:

  • Direct Patient Care, Higher Education, Instructional Technology and Design, Simulation-based Learning, Information Technology Systems, Film, and/or Theater.
