Ensure adherence to preventive maintenance systems for all production equipment and/or batching/processing equipment, including audits/verification of execution of predictive and preventative maintenance practices for all production equipment and systematic preventative maintenance, including electrical or mechanical adjustments, inspections and minor repairs.
Act as a resource for mechanics in identification and correction of potential equipment problems and troubleshooting and maintaining production lines and/or batching/processing equipment.
Properly perform all necessary maintenance tasks to production lines (i.e. rebuilds, welding, valve, pipe and solenoid selection, etc.).
Maintain accurate records and logs as required.
Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) in the execution of the work schedule. Ensures the area is maintained in a clean, safe, and orderly fashion.
Maintain proper safety conditions of equipment including immediately correcting or reporting safety issues to your supervisor.
Perform quality checks and accurate quality documentation as required.
Actively assist with planning/scheduling and storeroom staff for tracking work orders, parts, and purchase requisitions.
Identify and assist in the implementation of projects as required.
Education and Additional Requirements
Technical School or position related training
Minimum 5 years manufacturing maintenance experience
Minimum 5 years equipment reliability experience
Hydraulics, controls, electrical, mechanical, welding, electrical, PLC's, and pneumatics experience
Own & supply own tools per the Maintenance required tool list
Ideal candidate will possess working knowledge of data network, switches, routers and servers
Must be able to work flexible shift schedules up to 12-hour shifts as determined by business need
Must be able to use a computer and associated software programs
Experience with SCADA, board-level troubleshooting, and software systems
