    The Formula Intelligence function is a critical enabler of The Coca‑Cola Company's digital transformation agenda for Product Development and Formula Governance.

    The Director, Formula Intelligence holds end‑to‑end accountability for defining and driving the vision, strategy, and digital transformation roadmap that enables more agile, data‑driven, predictive, and scalable formulation and innovation processes.

    This role ensures that ingredient, formula, and product development data are transformed into enterprise‑grade digital assets that support innovation speed, design‑to‑value, compliance, and portfolio simplification. Acting as a senior strategic partner to GDI Leadership, Platform Services (PS), Innovation & Technology Strategy (ITS) and global TISC digital communities, the Director ensures alignment, integration, and reuse of platforms, systems, and analytics capabilities across the enterprise.

    The role operates at the intersection of business strategy, technical formulation expertise, data & analytics, and digital platforms, with both regional accountability and global influence.

    Formula Intelligence Strategy & Vision

    • Define and own the Formula Intelligence vision, value proposition, and multi‑year digital transformation roadmap for Product Development and Formula Governance.

    • Ensure alignment of the Formula Intelligence roadmap with GDI strategy, business priorities, and innovation agendas.

    • Position Formula Intelligence as a strategic capability enabling speed‑to‑market, quality, compliance, and value creation.

    Digital Transformation & Enterprise Integration

    • Lead the digital transformation of formulation and governance processes, from data foundations to advanced analytics, AI, and automation.

    • Ensure strong integration and interoperability across enterprise platforms, proprietary systems, and digital tools.

    • Partner with PS and ITS to align solution architectures, platform choices, and investment priorities.

    • Ensure Formula Intelligence initiatives leverage and contribute to enterprise digital standards and reusable capabilities.

    Senior Leadership Alignment & Influence

    • Act as a strategic advisor to GDI Senior Leadership on digital enablement, data strategy, and analytics‑driven innovation.

    • Align Formula Intelligence priorities with PS and ITS leadership to ensure clarity of ownership, resourcing, and delivery.

    • Influence decision‑making across technical, commercial, and digital leadership forums.

    Global Connectivity & Enterprise Mindset

    • Maintain strong connectivity with global TISC digital transformation leaders and communities of practice.

    • Identify opportunities to reuse, scale, and harmonize digital solutions across regions and categories.

    • Bring external trends, best practices, and emerging technologies into the Formula Intelligence strategy.

    Portfolio Governance & Value Realization

    • Govern the Formula Intelligence initiative portfolio, ensuring prioritization based on business value, feasibility, and scalability.

    • Define and track value realization metrics, including speed‑to‑market, design‑to‑value impact, complexity reduction, and data quality improvements.

    • Ensure digital initiatives move beyond pilots to sustained adoption and measurable business impact.

    People Leadership & Capability Building

    • Lead and develop the Formula Intelligence team, including Senior Managers and individual contributors.

    • Build critical capabilities in product ownership, analytics, digital delivery, and business translation.

    • Foster a culture of learning, experimentation, and collaboration within GDI and across digital partners.

    • Act as a role model for enterprise thinking, inclusive leadership, and innovation mindset.

    Communication & Influence Focus

    This role requires exceptional communication, influencing, and negotiation skills. The Director, Formula Intelligence operates in a highly matrixed environment, engaging:

    • GDI Leadership and Category Directors

    • Platform Services and Innovation & Technology Strategy leaders

    • Global TISC digital and analytics communities

    • External partners, technology vendors, and strategic collaborators

    The role must translate complex digital and data concepts into clear strategic narratives that drive alignment and action.

    Required Experience

    • 10+ years of experience in Product Development, Formula Governance, R&D Operations, Digital Transformation, or related technical leadership roles.

    • English Proficiency

    • Demonstrated experience defining and executing digital or analytics strategies in complex, global organizations.

    • Proven ability to manage and influence senior stakeholders across business, technical, and digital functions.

    • Strong track record of people leadership and capability development.

    • Experience integrating end‑to‑end technical and digital scopes for innovation and transformation initiatives.
