Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities
Lead the validation of design and implementation of filling and packing engineering solutions, including process flow diagrams, equipment sizing, and selection.
Oversee the commissioning and start-up activities of the plant, ensuring that all filling lines are operating as intended.
Coordinate with Global Equipment Platform, suppliers, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure the timely delivery and vertical start-up of different filling lines.
Develop and implement strategies for continuous process improvement, focusing on quality, efficiency, and productivity.
Collaborate with the maintenance and production teams to troubleshoot process-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations and company policies.
Lead and mentor a team of engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
Conduct regular audits and reviews and prepare detailed reports on findings and performance metrics.
Participate in the development and implementation of training programs for plant operations staff.
Lead SAP implementation in PE as PE Super User (considering full integration EMR/Mii): lead requirements gathering, user acceptance testing, and end user trainings.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's Degree in Industrial / Mechanical Engineering or a related field; a Master's Degree is preferred.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in process engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role in a manufacturing plant environment. Experience in the CPG or beverage industry is highly desirable.
Experience in working with suppliers for fabrication, and installation of highly automated filling and packing equipment is essential.
Strong knowledge of process design software (e.g., AutoCAD, P&ID software) and proficiency in data analysis tools.
Demonstrated experience in plant start-ups, commissioning, and process optimizations.
Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
Commitment to safety, quality, and environmental regulations and practices.
Ability to work flexibly and willingness to travel as needed.
