Education and Experience
Preference is given to APPs with critical care, ED or urgent care experience.
Advanced Practice Registered Nurses
Master's Degree in Nursing as Advanced Practice Registered Nurse and Family or Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Certification required. Minimum 1 year of pediatric nursing experience or related specialized area strongly preferred.
Physician Assistants
Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies and a minimum 1 year of experience in related specialized areas strongly preferred.
Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification
Advanced Practice Registered Nurses
Current Texas professional registered nurse license
Current Texas professional advanced practice registered nurse license
Certified as a Family or Pediatric Nurse Practitioner required
Current Basic Life Support (CPR) required
Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required
Physician Assistants
Current Texas professional physician assistant license
Certified as a PA-C
Current Basic Life Support (CPR) required
