Pharmacy Tech Il (POOL)

dits. Must also be competent in advanced sterile preparation (including but not limited to specialized training in TPNs or Chemotherapy), and/or must be trained and working in a specialized area such as pharmacy satellites, TPN, Chemotherapy, etc.

ACPE IV certification is required. Please list if you have it on your application or resume when applying.

Qualifications:

• High School or Equivalent required.

• If internal employee, you must have worked a minimum of 1 year in CCMC pharmacy and gained knowledge in advanced areas.

• External candidates must have pharmacy experience with 1 year of hands on IV preparation experience.

• A basic knowledge of math, the metric system, pharmaceutical chemistry, and medical terminology is essential.

• A general knowledge of office procedures such as filling and record keeping is essential.

• Good telephone skills and good oral communication skills are essential.

• Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) OR enrolled in ACPE accredited school of pharmacy

• Texas State Board of Pharmacy Technician Registration OR Texas Pharmacy Intern License,

• ACPE IV certification required.
