WP Medical Technologist - Microbiology

l Center Compliance Plans. Patients served at Cook Children's Medical Center range in age from newborn through the adolescent period. Additionally, adults are occasionally served. Specific instructions appear in the procedure manuals.

Pay:

• This position has a flat rate of $43.00/hr

Schedule:

• Saturday and Sunday, 8:30am-3:00pm

Qualifications:

• Requires a bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science or medical technology from an accredited institution or completed the requirements for the AMT or HEW certification

• At least one year of laboratory training or experience or both, in high complexity testing is preferred

• Must be MT (ASCP), MT (AMT), or MT (HEW), or equivalent registered or eligible - Prefer MT(ASCP)
