Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)
Record daily financial transactions and maintain general ledger accuracy, including job costing and inventory processing
Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations
Prepare schedules and reports to support financial statement preparation
Provide documentation and analysis to support audit request
Assist with compliance reporting, tax filings and other regulatory requirements
Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities
Contribute recommendations to improve financial processes and efficiency
Complete ad-hoq reporting and analysis as assigned
Other Requirements
Work effectively in a team environment and provide support to colleagues and supervisors as needed
Maintain a professional and courteous attitude with co-workers, supervisors, and external stakeholders
Adhere to company policies and safety practices
Comply with GAAP standards and applicable regulations
Regular and reliable attendance is required
Limited travel and ability to work evenings or weekends during peak periods
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance
Proven experience in accounting or related financial role
Strong knowledge of GAAP
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Work, Outlook); experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or similar) preferred
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Effective communication and collaboration skills across all levels of the organization
Ability to handle confidential information with integrity

Physical Requirements
Ability to communicate effectively by phone and in person
Regular use of computer systems for accounting, reporting and communication
