    Position summary

    This Superintendent role will support paving projects in our Southwest Florida region, to include the following counties: Sarasota County, Charlotte County, Collier County, Lee County, and Desoto County.
    What You'll Do

    • Ensure the safety of crew members and the public at all times

    • Train and mentor asphalt foremen and crew members

    • Plan and coordinate logistics, including truck scheduling and material flow

    • Visit job sites to monitor progress, optimize resources, and ensure compliance with contracts

    • Direct and coordinate crew activities to meet or exceed production goals

    • Track time, materials, and costs, preparing accurate reports and adjusting schedules as needed

    • Uphold company policies while recommending improvements in methods, equipment, and crew performance

    • Supervise multiple crews, fostering teamwork and accountability

    What We're Looking For

    • High School diploma or GED required; 3+ years of asphalt/paving experience (or equivalent training).

    • DOT experience preferred

    • Strong math and problem-solving skills for calculating materials, costs, and schedules

    • Ability to operate equipment safely and efficiently

    • Solid record-keeping and computer skills (database knowledge a plus)

    • Clear communication skills and the ability to lead by example

    • Excellent interpersonal and supervisory abilities with a proven ability to motivate teams
