Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment.

Perform minor servicing and maintenance of equipment; escalate major issues to supervisors.
Keep vehicles clean and organized.
Maintain regular and reliable attendance.

Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required.
Must obtain a CDL B Permit from the local DMV.
Work Requirements
At least 18 years of age.
Ability to obtain a valid CDL permit.
Successful completion of DOT physical, drug screening, and criminal background check.
Possession of a valid DOT medical card.
Strict adherence to safety standards and company policies.
Team player willing to assist co-workers and supervisors as needed.
Demonstrate professionalism and courtesy to colleagues and the public.
Maintain a current driver's license meeting state and company requirements (CDL, Class B).
Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) must meet company and DOT standards.
Ability to work up to six days per week, including significant overtime (55-70 hours/week), per DOT ready mix exemption laws.
Willingness to travel and work away from home as required.
Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and varying schedules.
Commitment to training employees with a CDL Class B license, even if they lack driving experience.
Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required by OSHA/MSHA, including face shield, safety shoes, and safety vest.
Compliance with OSHA, MSHA, and DOT regulations.
Knowledge & Skills
The ability to learn and demonstrate operational skills with mixer trucks and related equipment.
Basic reading, writing, and math skills for records and project documents.
Operate equipment safely and efficiently in diverse conditions.
Comprehend and follow verbal and written instructions.
Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Work well independently and as part of a team, maintaining attention to detail.
Operate heavy, complex equipment with skill and independent judgment.
Familiarity with securing heavy equipment and oversized loads.
Professional interaction with customers, including payment collection and issue resolution.
Physical & Environmental Requirements
Availability to work rotating shifts, including weekends.
Ability to walk or stand for extended periods; sit for short periods.
Frequent use of hands and arms, including reaching, gripping, and handling.
Frequent climbing of steps (8"-24"), balancing; occasional kneeling, stooping, crouching, or squatting for equipment inspection.
Occasional pushing and pulling with hand tools.
Ability to wear hearing protection in high sound areas.
Lift up to 50 lbs. from floor to waist occasionally; frequently lift to 30 lbs. with hand tools.
Work in elevated or confined spaces, repeatedly climb ramps/stairs, occasionally climb vertical ladders.
Work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including extended sun exposure.
Wear a respirator in areas with fumes, odors, dust, mists, gases, or poor ventilation.
