Job Responsibility
Support key relationships with Sales, Product Management, Finance, Brand, Marketing Services, Channel customers
Plan, develop and regularly manage the annual marketing budget in support of the Building Products Distribution (BPD) channel
Determine and set monthly, quarterly and annual tactical goals for the channel department in alignment with the VP Sales
Collaborate with the Marketing Services team to oversee the development of marketing materials, campaign assets, and content tailored to the channel
Oversee the planning, development, and execution of channel programs and promotions, including customer loyalty/partnership programs and trade marketing campaigns
Lead department budgeting, planning, creation and fulfillment of all Samples, Displays and Collateral and be the Oldcastle face for vendor partner
Build and maintain channel expertise through field travel, attendance at industry events, competitive analysis and close collaboration with Sales
Plan and oversee department in support of marcomm, brand presentations, competitive benchmarking, tradeshow planning, and website content
Lead new product development Launch planning by identifying all needed marketing tactics, in support of the VP Sales, and oversee implementation
Direct Two Channel Marketing Specialists report directly to the Channel Marketing Manager
Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing or related field is required
7+ years experience of Sales and/or Marketing experience is required. Channel leadership experience as well as experience within the Building Products/Durable Goods industry is preferred
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
Demonstrated ability to influence, collaborate and build trust
Demonstrated solid financial acumen, analytical skills and problem-solving ability
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the business and in front of customers
Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
Valid Driver's License with clean driving record
